Getting called repeatedly by this number, as soon as my answer machine cuts in they clear (i m in the TPO but as usual that makes no difference to these scammers/spammers) Why is the ICO so useless with these people)

Missed the call. The call came in at was just before 9pm. Even (I’m not saying this is but) if this was a valued call to be made, to ring at such an hour, is a joke. I say if you think you owe money contact the company yourself. Too many scams going on at the minute to be trusted answering unknown numbers.

I keep receiving multiple calls from this number as well as other local area code numbers on both my landline and mobile. No messages are left and when I did pick up once, they hung up. I am presuming it s a telemarketer.

Potential cost trap! I also had a phone call about my computer and its "harmful viruses." I said thanks but I dont have the conscience to accept help from a cold call. I felt I was putting my privacy in danger.

This caller phoned me in the last 5 minutes and spoke so indistinctly that I terminated the call. Judging by other comments I m also suspicious of this caller.

Called asking for non-executive Director by name - "it s Johnny from the surveyors at Altus" were the words he used. I walked through to our Director and used the same words. Our Director said he won t take the call as he has no ongoing business with Altus and no imminent need. You may be a customer without knowing. I m going to buck the trend here... yes it s D&G, and they had a valid reason to call me. I m sure they probably cold-call too but for me I am a customer already.. and many of you may be too without knowing. My 2 year manufacturer s warranty was 1y manufacturer + 1y exended.. that 1y extended part was supplied by D&G.
