Cold calling for telesales

Despite being ex-directory and TPS registered, these cold-callers had my name but were after more information, before they could tell me if I qualify for whatever they are peddling - spray foam insulation this time. Ended the call and reported them to TPS - I recommend anyone to do the same.

Guy introduce himself saying he was contacting me as i was on a list to receive a refund due to bank charges. He asked me lots of questions about who ive had loans from and who ive had credit cards with. I said im sorry this doesn t sound right to me...he got very irritated and told me to check the number it is a recognized BT number at a registered address. This number just keeps on calling. Nobody there when you answer it phone hangs up. I guess they are just trying to find out when you are available to answer the phone and then letting companies know. BLOCK IT.

Taffy Call received @ 1815 no one other end, another nuisance call from a Manchester code.

I have been contacted by a Company called UK Loan Ltd, the foriegn gentleman called Richard explained all the loan details and even gave me a reference number and the number to call them back. He asked for a UKASH voucher for ?100, (this voucher is as he told me was to show that we are able to repay the loan and I would get it back with the money into my account) which I did and gave them the voucher number. Just paid my bill over the phone.. the agent asked me at the end of the call if I would be interested in a smart meter and could i do a survey about how I had been dealt with.. I said a definite no to both.. 30 seconds later a call from this 0800 number..... annoying..... how did they get my number.. surely no means no.......

Despite informing Vanquis that my financial affairs are being dealt with by a third party I continue to be harassed! I have come to the point of blocking any numbers I do not know. Interest on account has risen drastically and I no longer care, they can pee off. I was more than willing to come to an agreement but they are cowboys that think they can bully you into paying despite explaining circumstances have changed.
