HMRC scam. They first called off a mobile number, I answered hung up & hung up after hearing a recorded message saying that I had committed fraud & to press one to speak to someone or I would be arrested. They then called back on this number to be verbally abusive towards me. HMRC would not do that! Block every number they use. Total scam. These people need to get a life & a proper job that contributes to society in a positive way.

They rang our landline and asked to speak to the BT broadband account holder. I said I was the broadband user and then they put the phone down on me. So I have blocked the number.

This is a third party marketing company who call on behalf of ALL mobile providers (T-mobile, Orange, Vodafone, O2 etc) In my case it was T-mobile and I phoned 150 from my mobile and requested my PAC number from their retentions department, intimating that I was leaving them. I just accept the call and leave my phone on the side and carry on with what I m doing. They normally hang up after a minute or so listening to me washing up/having a dump or whatever.

This is a fake number used by scammers to try to get personal information about you. They sound very official and scary, suggesting legal action against you. I inadvertently provided them with my name, National Insurance number and name of bank before I realised that it was a phishing attempt. The caller spoke with a slightly American accent. I tried to call the number back, but it's invalid.
