Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!

Don't ring them back to see who it was, they have a recorded message and they'll store your telephone number and ring you relentlessly thereafter.

SPAM Dodgy sounding guy on cracked line, said he was calling from O2 when I'm not even with O2. Said I don't take spam calls and hung up.

Automated spam call, supposedly from Amazon, about authorising £1250 payment for an iPhone.

Caller said they were from O2 and could offer me a discount on my mobile phone bills. I said that with the discount that I would be paying nothing then as it would be the same as my O2 account now (Non existent) SCAM!! Keep away.

A call from this number (unaswered) was received late at night by a phone that has been hacked two weeks ago and the service provider seems not to have been able to put the account out of reach of the criminal, despite a great deal of correspondence with them. TAXES / HMRC Received a recorded message from female with American accent, (similar voice to many other recorded calls threatening legal action). SCAM pretended to be amazon prime - refunding the money. wanted me to download "anydesk" for them to access my phone to refund. (didnt download anydesk and gave them a false ID code)

Called saying i had two transactions against my visa card they believed were suspicious. One from amazon for a small amount and another for someone else for over 1k. asked me to press some buttons to agree or query these transactions, not a chance thanks.
