SCAM This number is actually owned by a legitimate person who has nothing to do with the automated calls received, pertaining to be from Amazon. They have stolen the number and are using it to scam people for their credit card details. I believe they have now found a way to generate random numbers that will show up on your call display, yet are not from the sender.

Said they wanted to verify that I had spent it, which I hadn’t but they wanted me to confirm account details.I asked who them to repeat who they were and they said from visa. I then knew it was a scam as I don’t have a visa account.

I am local to Wrexham and have recently had 4 local numbers that have called me whose numbers I don t recognize so have left the calls go to answer phone but shortly after my answer phone message starts, they hang up. They are probably all from the same organization all calling from different numbers. Received a call from this number regarding compensation for an accident I had last year. When I told the caller I wasn t interested, he said "well, you re just going to keep getting calls then!" I said, "Well, you can do, but you d be an idiot as i just won t answer" and he said "and you re a slag!". I replied "I don t think that s very professional!" and he put the phone down on me.

Had a phone call from them and they seemed to know some of my personal details (well, as far as my phone number, name and 1st line of my address). I asked them who they were and got the response AAC and nothing more than that. The guy was very evasive and when I asked what the call was regarding was just told it was "sensitive information".
