This is a scam. They phoned me on my (not a smart) mobile. An automated American voice stated they were from HMRC informing me that I owed money and they were sending the dept collectors around. To discuss this matter further and settle the debt I should press; 1. Problem is, I did my Tax Return in April and don't owe any tax. I've not owed tax for years. This is because I am on Carers Allowance. HMRC do not have my mobile number. SCAM

SCAM! Called my mobile and an automated message spoke about a fraud on my credit card. We got cut off. When i tried to call back from a landline the number is not found!

A scam - told me my visa card had been used =charges to Amazon (that always means its a rubbish call) and then a 4 figure charge outgoing to Western Union. I don't have a Visa card

Automated call claiming to be from a bank fraud department with suspicious activity on a card for transactions of hundreds of pounds. No bank name was mentioned and it asked to either authorise payments or choose to speak to someone. When no choice was pressed immediately the call was ended.

TAXES / HMRC SCAM - one of those ridiculous American accented robot voicemails informing me that I will shortly be prosecuted for tax evasion unless I press 1 now!

This is a fake number used by scammers to try to get personal information about you. They sound very official and scary, suggesting legal action against you. I inadvertently provided them with my name, National Insurance number and name of bank before I realised that it was a phishing attempt. The caller spoke with a slightly American accent. I tried to call the number back, but it's invalid.

'Simon tried to deliver a package this morning. but no-one was at home.' I was directed to an http website to rearrange a post office delivery. (I did not go there) - I have no deliveries due. -I was at home. -The post office have never contacted me in this way before. -I have had similar messages from 'Simon' from different numbers in the past. This number seems dangerous.

Phone scam from Pakistan claiming to be Three Mobile. When I said how poor Three were and that I would never consider moving to them they became abusive. They failed to provide my full name, my address, or any information as to how they got my number other than 'from the government' It's a bit funny because they tried this last month as well off a different number when the government contacted their office to get in contact with me that morning too, they know nothing but your number and partial name
