I think this is a scam number. Recorded American accent saying HMRC and that a fine would be implemented and to press 1 to speak to someone. Obviously I didn’t, line then went dead !!

SCAM- this is a new number supposedly HM revenue and customs reporting me I am going to be jailed for non payment - shame I actually work for them. Do not fall for this trick

Person called saying from BT and needing to check my internet connection. Wanted to know which platform I used for various activities. When I suggested that he could find this out by looking at their system the caller told me to "Go to hell" and dropped the line.

"Bank of Scotland" left concurrently 2 text messages and a voicemail, & phoned from 0333 045 9640. 1st text said "You will shortly receive a text from Bank of Scotland Card Services to confirm recent activity on your card ending xxxx" (the actual numbers on my card). 2nd text said fraudulent purchase of £349 from Apple had been blocked. Call center, likely a scam. Indian accents who hung up as soon as they heard my voice, I'm too young to be scammed apparently.

This number is being used for fraud/scams. They call and accept you of tax fraud and demand payment to stop legl action. DO NOT TRUST THIS NUMBER. I HAVE REPORTED THIS NUMBER.

This call referred to an Amazon Card (which I don't have) and an international money transfer of £300. None of which is relevant. Sounds threatening. Have had this before but on a different number.

Then someone will ask your name and then says you are under legal charges and ask if any legal advisor will be with you. When you say to them that they are scam, they will cut off the line

Probable scam or fraud. The telltale signs: 1. Delay before speaking 2. Lots of background noise - a call centre 3. Says he is from a telecoms company but name is indistinct.
