SCAM- 0128 240981 I've been bombarded by calls from similar 0128 numbers for past couple weeks. I finally answered this one today (28th October) and it was a lady with an oversees accent with echoey background noise saying she was from the National Debtline. She knew my name and kept asking me to confirm it but I didn't and I kept asking who she was then hung up when she said she was from the debtline. They don't cold call you and it's a totally different number so I blocked it.

This and another similar number called my land line and I called the one above back, as I was waiting for a call, but there was no reply Within five minutes a foreign man called back and stated I had phoned him a few minutes before. When told I was responding to a call from him, he insisted I had called him an hour ago (impossible as no one was home), and his attitude changed to verging on verbally aggressive. I hung up. If you say sure - they will try and set this up on the phone, or direct you to your provider website. like this is an option, I chose my provider's website, they hung up.
