I am moving from BT because of horrific service. I received a short automated message from BT - stating that they were taking over my line. I called to query this. The guy who answered verified my number, but it was not my number. I told him it was not mine and he abruptly hung up. I called back - the second call handler couldn’t understand the situation and became annoyed and hung up. My phone rung again and it was a scam call centre from abroad offering to cover my washing machine but I was to pay today.

This is a removals company I used to move that scammed me over £1000. They operate under the names Riight Moves Removals and previously Royale Removals, the owner being Sat Singh.

Somehow knew my mobile phone network, offered me 30% discount and would transfer me to a supervisor. Did not mention my name or his. Scam. Number blocked. Do the same.

The caller said she was calling from Visa and said I should press 1 to stop £900 from leaving my account. I'll contact my bank and report this strange call.

Cold call selling property maintenance. Accent didn't match STD Code, always a clue, if you know what I mean.

I received a phone call from +44 20 8097 5643 claiming I recently responded to a social media ad (I didn't). The scam company is 'Apollo.Expect' their website is https://apollo.expert/ and the caller claimed they were based in oxford and major cities across Europe. There is nothing online about the company so I immediately knew it was a scam. After reminding them they are in breach of GDPR the call immediately ended.

A very similar number , 7342 225631, texted me pretending to be one of my children, saying that they had broken their phone and had to borrow a friend's. Asked me to WhatsApp them on this number.

Auto message stating call from 'bank fraud dept' saying 'your card has been used for £300 via amazon & £1000 for an international transfer. No bank name, no card type given. Sounds like a scam as asked to press option 1 to cancel or option 3 to speak to someone.

Prerecorded message allegedly from my bank stating 2 payments could be fraudulent on my account. Obvious Fraud fishing.

SCAM This number was the first of three (others were 0208 888 7676 and 01782 254545) which I received on 17th and 18th July 2023, telling me I had security problems with users accessing my computer files. Cold-calling scam regarding "financial market investments", likely based overseas as the caller's proferred name did not seem to correlate with their accent. Nervous laughter and unconvincing denial from the caller when accused of being a scammer and asked if they were based in Kolkata. Avoid.

Asian male rang claiming to be from Sky to renew my equipment warranty for the discounted price of £99!! Asked me if I still had card ending in 5619, which I dont and never have, told him so and he hung up. Beware this is more than likely a scam call!

If this number contacts you about a "recruitment", it's a scam. Do not engage. And certainly don't deposit any money into their service, you're not getting it back.
