Asian person saying will only take a minute just wanted to ask a few questions. normally i just hang up but for some reason i didnt. asked me what my brand of tv is, how much i spend on holidays, who my electricty is with, my income bracket where i would go on holiday. dont think they are con artist, just gathering data so more companies can send you spam...should have hung up! waste of 2 minutes

Irish lad said he was calling about my frozen pension. i played along and made up stuff about a fictitious pension which he VERIFIED. When said I was just digging out the file to get the pension reference number he hung up, l am a pension administrator so can baffle them with terminology. Proves these calls are a scam.
Automated message asking for a call back due to a serious lawsuit. I hung up and blocked the number.

Calling about compensation that could be available for a minor motoring incident I ve been involved with recently. They used my maiden name which was a red flag to start with, and I ve not been in any incident. Lady tried to persist with the call after I politely tried to end it so hung up instead.
