saying they are from talktalk and they have "detected problems with my router". Every time they ring the number changes slightly so you can t tell they ve rung before. I am heartily fed up with these people. Each time I report the scam number to talktalk on their website. Don t know if it does any good but its worth a try.

I think they last called me around 2 years ago and are always very respectful. In a roundabout way, they are trying to sell a service, but at no point pressured me into buying anything. First support saying they understood I had an accident. I got the guys name (Steven). He was trying to bully and intimidate me not aware I m a former Personal Injury Lawyer. When I caught him out and and asked to speak to his supervisor so he cut me off.

No idea who it was. Think its one of the automated calling bots that I thought were now illegal in the UK. Reason I think this? I called it back and it cut off on first ring.

Phoned telling me they had a cheque to send for refund of bank charges. Had my name and address, wanted my date of birth. When asked which bank were refunding charges just repeated UK Financial Services. Told me they would cancel cheque if I didn t give date of birth. I said that would be fine and hung up. Its time uk phone numbers were stopped from being given to overseas callers.

NEVER give ANY information to a caller, no matter how convincing they sound.

Don’t know anyone in this area so either wrong number or chancer.
