Another nuisance call. Phone rang from this number but no one said anything so I hung up.

Today I have received my third consecutive call from these people in three days. Each call implied that my computer had been compromised. Todays call was the most aggressive so far. Because I refused to switch on my computer I was told that they would put a block on my access and that I will be billed for £200.

Almost certainly a SCAM!

Woman spoke in an accent I could barely understand. Rang my mobile number and had my name. Asked if I had a work place or private pension. I just terminated the call.

I have to no idea who They are I never answered the phone so I assume it was a scam

I just called this number back and 'Cash Converters' answered ??

This number is one of a group that has recently called me and appeared to be a scam of some sort. I answered and waited before speaking any, and after three seconds they hung up. Seem to have now blocked 0843 980 12xx where xx so far is anywhere between 01 to 51 - 47 just the latest. Last time i answered it from one of these numbers there was nobody there. Wonder if phone numbers of the call centre staff are also on their autocall list.
