04 Nov 2021 - A woman called me on this number claiming to be from the post office which had a part unpaid parcel for me. I asked for the reference number. She gave me a fake reference number which I typed into the post office website and it came up invalid. She then proceeded to say that the reference number will not show on the website and once I pay I will get a new reference number which will show. I then called her out on her bullshit stating I had used post office before and this is definitely fake. S

I have blocked their number so it doesn t ring but I still get a message to tell me that they called. I have had 10 calls from this company in the past 3 days.

Trying to collect for a cancellation fee on an insurance company. Complete jokers. Just ignore/block them. They will never follow through with any threats - they just rely on intimidating people into payment. They will even offer you discounts - a clear sign they know they re not entitled to any money.

Persistence caller, rings around 4 times a day at different times, even though my answer machine takes most of the calls they keep calling. Today I answered it & they are asking for the person that used to have my number over 22 years ago so I know that they are working from old telephone books etc. Just told them that they had the wrong number so hopefully that will stop now! A Google search indicates that the number belongs to a company called MachineMart.

I had a call from 08004118899 trying to persuade me to buy plan to cover a Hotpoint washing machine as according to them my warranty has expired. Since I have never registered this machine and I doubt the respected shop from which it was bought would give them my details I was suspicious of their company and proposed service. Looking at these comments it would appear I am correct in resisting their advances.
