I told him that we do not have a standard charge and I will not be stating a value - very thick accent which was hard to be able to understand fully. Very polite though.

I got an email from PayPal, saying I purchased a cell phone & that payment is now due. He asked me for the invoice number & said that a purchase was made IN MY NAME although my opening remarks were 'I don't have a PayPal account but I received an email requesting payment for a purchase' - when I asked him 'what's my name?' he hung up! 07729854614. Have received at least a 100 calls for a Mrs May who died years ago and have Inform them on every call, to tge point these calls are no longer funny.. Today, told them again and said I was sick of getting these call. Superb sales man told me that I should " get F- - - K ING used to it ". If this is O2 all I can say is what a charming sales force you employ.
Said they were carphone warehouse. They hung up when I said I don't have anything from carphone warehouse. Seemed fishy...
Got 4 calls from this number today and a few yesterday as well. When I answered they said they were from frank gallo solicitors looking at claiming back from companies who had been lending unfairly. Knew my name and address but stopped it before I confirmed.
Said they were calling to report 2 large withdrawals from my bank account to Amazon. They were definitely not!!

Did not identify themselves on the message but it was about an international money transfer on a debit of credit card. told to press 1 to cancel or 2 to speak to an advisor. I treated this as a phishing call, ignored the instruction and blocked the number.
This is not O2 calling to random numbers to find if is O2 and asking for details Very dangerous
Scam call purportedly from bank advising of fraudulent credit card transactions which they are blocking. The caller wants you to input a code which they text to you. DO NOT DO SO. If you do they will, no doubt, get access to your account. I put a block on the call number via my mobile phone provider and sent an email to the bank's security dept informing them of the scam.

SCAM! I visited the EE website and asked in the community and lots off EE customers have received exactly the same text message, and they have all got exactly the same amount of "points" which is not an EE scheme, and when you search the number it came from it states the number is on the EE network NOT from EE themselves.
Flag as suspected Fraud by my mobile provider so didn't answer. Number blocked

A scam offering 40% off your O2 account. - I know it is a 100% scam as (a) I have had one of these calls before and (b) I ceased to be an O2 customer 4 years ago. Suspect someone hacked their site or an ex-employee has flogged their data to scammers. Foreign guy said he'd send a special code in a text/email but to not divulge it to anyone - probably because everyone gets the same and they don't want you to compare notes!
