I was called from this number by a woman asking to speak to somebody who wasn`t me. The name she asked for is the same as I`ve had on other scam calls. This is a dangerous number.

I had received the same message 10 minutes before on a different number,

This number called my landline this morning. Indian/Pakistani lady claiming to be from BT. Said my internet speed wasn't up to scratch and did I know how to check the speed. I said I did and checked regularly. She asked when I last checked and what was the speed. I said I checked yesterday and the speed was was what I expected. The call was then ended abruptly from their end. Now blocked.

this is a SCAM, they call disguised as a debt collector via a mobile saying you owe money for a High Court Writ and they will call at a given time so its best you pay immediatley. Its a scam.
Didnt answer as I didn’t recognise the number. No voice mail was left. Obviously a nuisance call.

There trying to scam you out of money and DO NOT belong to any of these companies there claim to be. Male non english accent called my landline from 07342065763 17 Jan 2023. Stated he was from Amazon security and that he had emailed me as someone had ordered a £600 phone on my account. I asked whose name was on the account as he said it was my name. I asked again whose name and he said D Maddison. When I say they don't live here he hung up. Obviously has some old phone records.
The pre-recorded call, claims that you owe HMRC money are about to be Prosecuted. JUST HANG UP, IT IS A SCAM AND WILL COST YOU MONEY IJ YOU PRESS ANY NUMBER.
