SPAM - rang back and someone with a subcontinental accent answered Courthouse Company (if I heard it right) and i said I had a missed call and she said 'are you looking for any mobile phone contracts' which sounds very strange. Advised no and blocked the number.

Silent calls are made once or twice daily. My answer-phone states "the caller has cleared", and normally the number is withheld, but not on this and a previous occasion. The pattern of the calls makes me think it is the same caller, [for many months]. The TPS advise it may be silent or abandoned calls,or recorded calls.
Had two calls from this number today and they asked for one of the directors by name. I spoke to this director and he said to take a message. The guy from this company (Alan from the Surveyors Office)said that he would try later. I said he would be better leaving a message as I didn t think the call was for this particular person. TAXES / HMRC Automated call stating that it was HMRC and I was going to be investigated for tax fraud and the police were on their way with a warrant.
Had a phone call from them and they seemed to know some of my personal details (well, as far as my phone number, name and 1st line of my address). I asked them who they were and got the response AAC and nothing more than that. The guy was very evasive and when I asked what the call was regarding was just told it was "sensitive information". I told him he had the wrong number and I hung up. I was involved in a car accident about a year ago so they may well have been ringing about that.

These guys say: "Money Save - in a response to a survey you filled in and expressed an interest in financial products"! Well I may have completed a survey but I certainly did not express an interest in anything!
