This number rings twice and then stops. If you attempt to call this number back it cuts out immediately. It is a Strathpeffer number in Scotland. Scam call and be aware
SCAM Text message apparently from the Post Office, about being unable to contact me about a parcel. (No card through the door, no parcel expected.) I had to open a link contained in the message. My virus protection app notified me this number was suspicious and I should not open the link, but delete the message.
The usual Indian accent claiming to be from BT Openreach.
Got a call from this number, can’t find any search about this number. Too noisy! First said it was from Sky, (knew my name and address), said my contract ended now in begin of April, I corrected saying it was only next month. Then she said they needed to do some checks to see if they could offer me a better/cheaper deal and asked me how much I pay monthly. It was when I said if you’re from sky you should know how much I pay. it was when she said she wasn’t from Sky but from UK utility something. I hung up

Whatsapp message. Claims to be from an internationall affiliate company offering work. Somehow got my details from an online recruitment site but refused to tell me the source and convo very vague & shrouded in secrecy for company name or details. Seems to be leading up to a scam. Be aware.

This and another similar number called my land line and I called the one above back, as I was waiting for a call, but there was no reply Within five minutes a foreign man called back and stated I had phoned him a few minutes before. When told I was responding to a call from him, he insisted I had called him an hour ago (impossible as no one was home), and his attitude changed to verging on verbally aggressive. I hung up. I werent sure what to put the category as but I got a call with sexual nature which rapidly became degrading. I attempted to call back to see if I could find any further info and it said the number isn't in use.

Claimed to be from Virgin, calling about internet. Got increasingly frustrated with me when I said I didn’t recognise the number and would call Virgin myself. Didn’t believe the guy with Indian accent and I hung up when he wouldn’t go away. Scary as it sounded like a big call centre in the background and it would be easy to get sucked in. Hope everyone hangs up and karma catches up with what I believe are scammers.

SCAM Call from this number and again a male with a strong Asian accent. He knew my name and asked if I was that person. I didn't confirm but when I questionned him about who he was, he said he was calling from Health Department. When I asked him to define WHICH Health Department, he stalled. I said "you don't know, do you? There are many UK Health departments". At this point he simply hung up. I consider thiis a risk and potential scam.

Received a call stating from British Gas with regards to my boiler cover. Advised that I will be covered for £22 a month and asked for my sortcode and account number.
