Just had a call from "BT". Told me to put my computer on as there was error messages from our broadband. I asked why the genuine BT engineer who visited yesterday hadn't picked anything up. He was stumped - off script. He told me I needed to log in to my computer. I asked him why my computer was needed to sort out the hub. He (Asian) asked me if I spoke English!!!!! Oh how I laughed and said "what did you just say?". He then told me I was stupid and hung up.

I left this comment on the Voxbone SA Scam Number function, which is apart of their website. Number seems to possibly be a missed call scam of a 0845 number. The number calls at around exactly the same time everyday, and leaves a voicemail that is completely blank. The idea of the scam is to make the mobile owner not pick up, but cost them on their next bill. Even though the caller did not initiate the call, the phone company will state they did. Missed call shown on my phone. Judging by comments above, just another scam company. If they are telling me that I have been in an accident and can make a claim, well, it s my UK phone they called that I keep in case I need a phone in the UK in the future. I have emigrated to another country so would be highly unlikely to have an accident in the UK seeing as I now live in another country, on another continent!

This number appears to belong to Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Trust and as I understand it - the purpose is a survey about a recent visit to one of their hospitals. If you have attended a clinic at one of their hospitals it may be worth accepting the call and giving feedback via their automated call. If you haven t been to one of their hospitals for any reason - it may be a spoof and best to ignore it.
