This is a Santander number. In my case, I made a complaint, so their complaints department called me from this number.
Line disconnected when I picked the phone up - probably automated call centre phoning numbers at random in some kind of phishing scam. We have had a lot of these!

Ridiculous obviously declined and asked them to write instead they haven t, not suprised. THis is fake. I had a text pretending to be from my bank, about a transaction. My bank says no such transaction, and they did not send this message. Advice: do not call the number on the text, call your bank using the number printed on the back of your bank card.

I received this call yesterday and it appears to originate from Meriden, Conneticut. I automatically ignore these sorts of numbers and block them. However, I'm being inundated with these calls on a daily basis and it's so frustrating as they will keep calling you but from a different number!

Have had repeated calls from this number over the last week or so, when answered there is only silence, no response.
It's just a scam regarding Tax Evasion. They will give an option to settle with the court by paying 500£ first or settle it in court with a lawyer. They will not give you a reference number for your case and they will try threathing you with police officer coming to your door.
