this is Makeover Studios, they gave me a call and said I had won a competition for an £800 makeover and photoshoot! Paid a small £100.00 deposit which I got back and put towards artwork at the end. A little expensive but worth it. Makeup artist was a gay MAC consultant - they the best, photographer ENZO was super nice and creative - has a blast with him. Great one off experience
They called and asked if I had a credit card with Barclays and that they wanted to fill in some kind of insurance claim. I told them where to get off.

Had a call from this number on my landline at 5:30pm on Wednesday 26th July. Heard two voices on the line when I answered - one a lady who identified herself by name & said she was a local energy adviser (although this phone number is not local to me) but did not give a company name, the other a gentleman talking in a foreign language. This is a company which books free home assessments for damp (rising, penetrating, leaks, condensation) and issues caused by insulation previously installed under a freebie government scheme. They use a dialler to make contact and do not charge for their service. If you agree to have a surveyor visit your home they are polite and helpful. Their home assessment is free of charge. If they identify an issue they bring it to you attention. They then compare your home's issue with previous case studies.

A company that helps with Energy bills and over charges on the water bill. I called back in on the customer line and got through to somebody, with these scammers they give you dead numbers.
Apparently my phone has been selected for a ?2,000,000 prize. To good to be true? Absolutely - bin it.

CARE - Scam number - automated call purporting to be from Inland Revenue - threatening cancellation of National Insurance Number due to apparent illegal activity - financial threats got stronger during the call if no action taken - instructed to press "1" to be connected to "customer service officer". Presumably, if pressed "1", would then be coerced to divulge bank or card details or other information - CARE.

Don t trust them no matter what they say to you.
Automated voice telling me my insulation in the loft isn't 'up to govt. standard'. Says he's called Tom and that hey will arrange an appointment today to come and have a look at the insulation. He doesn't sound really automated, but clearly this voice is. As soon as I asked if he was a computer the phone went dead.
