SCAM An automated voice was saying that I've just purchased iPhone and the amount of over £1000 will be deducted from the card associated with my personal Amazon account, it asked me to choose the option to confirm the transaction or speak to an adviser. I have logged into my Amazon account, there is no such order placed. I also have checked my bank account, no pending transactions. I haven't received any notification from the bank about activities on my account.

Automated call saying they are from HMRC and if you don't press one now a warrant will be issued against you for fraud. Total scam.... avoid at all costs and do NOT press one. Apparently if you do you your telephone bill will be charged an extortionate amount of money - not sure how much because, fortunately, I did not press one!!!

Do not trust them, ask them to take your name off the list as I did. A chap called Jamie called to update our tariff, saying he was from E-On, but didn’t have our bank details. This is odd as we put all our utilities on standing order. Even stranger as we don’t have an E-On account! Didn’t have a chance to challenge as he left this message on our answer phone.
