Recorded message that my National Insurance number had been used in suspected or criminal activity, press 1 to talk to an officer to avoid accounts being suspended and arrested. I hung up. Am sure if that was the case, thepolice would have been on ny doorstep or a real person would have called.

They took me for 3K and said they will tell my wife if I called them again. Complete scam do not pay them or call them they will promise you work but nothing happens, just keep cancelling and asking for more money which was willing to give but stopped believing them. SCAM proporting to be from amazon prime with a refund. Had my partner on the phone this morning for an hour and had access to his phone screen after convincing him to download apps! Called back this evening and I had words with him. Called me a mutherfucker when I suggested he was a scam artist. Called him back on another phone. No answer but was called back a couple of minutes later and the same male south Asian voice denied any knowledge of the call.

SCAM: call received at lunchtime on 7.5.2021 to work landline. Caller said they were Emily from Virgin Media about my internet connection. Queried why calling as this was not my internet provider and told that Virgin Media responsible for security of the entire internet! Then said she was in. Virgin Technical Dept. When I said it seemed unbelievable that Virgin Media managed security for entire internet was asked why i hadn’t terminated call. Caller hung up and called me disrespectful!
