Robot call, says from Amazon fraud department. Usual rubbish about £700 suspicious transaction, press 1 to block the payment etc.
Had a few missed calls off this number over a few days, then one morning at 5am, my phone woke me up by calling this number by itself on speaker. My phone is fingerprint/pin locked, and my applock app registered two failed attempts to access my phone's settings. Everyone in the house was asleep and I've yet to find an explanation. Phone completely scanned for malware and came up clean. Very perturbing.

SCAM, called from a different number first saying he is calling from curry’s pc world and offering mobile phone upgrade at very cheap price. I suspected fraud, so asked for the company details so I can check and call back . Was given this number. When I called ,instead of going through switch board options, someone answered straight away saying “ curry’s mobile phone company, how can I help?” I knew straight away it was a scam, a few fraudsters working together pretending to be a company.
I answered it sounds like a call centre then they put the phone down and try and ring on a number with the last numbers different.

Seems to be someone trying to do an Amazon scam
Vaccinations Indian male. Bust call centre noise in background. Claiming he is from the COVID Helpdesk. Asking about my Jabs and Boosters. Asking if I felt okay after them. Asking if I have had COVID. Asking if I have health cover. Asking for the name of my health cover. I refused to disclose. He asked again. I asked if he was okay that I was recording the call. 01615245396 called 25Aug2023 at 10:53hrs. Called didn't leave a message.
I think this might actually be a valid Co-op number. I say that because: 1. I tried to make some credit-card payments while abroad, but they were declined. 2. This number called my mother to check the payments. 3. When my mother confirmed with them that the payment attempts were valid, my card started working again! But I cannot 100% confirm. My mother actually received three calls over the weekend. Sadly this number is not shown on the Co-op website. So it's difficult to verify.
