Indian 'lady' called saying they were Right Energy part of uk-talk offering wholesale energy rates. Asked where she was located, she said Birmingham. After stringing her along for 10 minutes I asked what was happening with the Bull Ring, she clearly did not know what I was talking about especially when I asked if that's where she gets the bullsh*t from. Then said she was in Kolkata (aka Calcutta) not Birmingham. Said that I was in London helping police with scam callers - phone went dead!

Pretending to be a call from Royal Mail. This is a scam call, Royal Mail will never call you to ask for payment. Do not give any money to anyone calling from this number.

SCAM - rang first from a London landline. Stating this is Scorpions and I have applied for a loan for £2000 with £99 monthly repayment over 24 months. Explained I haven’t. Began insulting me after he said I should stop wasting people’s time if I don’t need the loan. Politely asked to watch his tone. Started screaming “Shut Up! Shut Up!”. Hung up. Called from the mobile number just to say “Fuck You”.

SCAM - SCAMMER! Claim to be from Tax Office - HMRC. An automated voice will ask you to press "1" on your keypad - DON'T! I phoned them back & it's an incorrect number!!

SCAM called yesterday about virgin internet. I don't have broadband with virgin.

Claimed to be calling from "credit investigation unit" and government had shortlisted me to write off 90% of my debt. I got him to stop, then said I was recording the call and began quizzing him. The story he spun twisted and flipped, wouldn't answer how/why the government knows what my credit status is, or who compiles the shortlist, or where his employer got it. I repeated that I was recording the call and suggested it was a scam. He swore and cut off the call.

Someone me rang from this number querying credit card purchases. They did not say what card.

Asked for email address as I didn't have the time to speak, told them to send me an email as they seemed to have my info, but he could only confirm my name, so I hung up. Telephone call from 07979 752324 at 10:23 on Thursday 23 March. Female caller requested one minute to ask personal questions. Replied "no", however female caller carried on speaking. Did not answer any questions. Believe caller fishing for personal information in order to start some type of fraud. Female caller then terminated call, so number then blocked immediately.
