Scam Indian call centre, says internet is broken and tries to get you to download a remote access computer program so they can take over your computer and then claim a ransom from you. Suggest you keep them hanging on the line as long as possible but don't download anything or give them your details. Just string them along and frustrate them. Then give them a mouthful of verbal abuse when you are ready to hang up. Number was +44 (0) 7444496409.

Recieved call from this number on my work phone. I am a building manager located in Auckland, New Zealand and have nothing to do with the locality it is based in. Going by past experience calls to my work phone from overseas numbers are always scams, didn't answer and having looked on this website it appears I was correct.
Scam (Debt) kept the guy occupied for 15 mins giving him fake details from my end, he was insistant it wasnt a scam but when i questioned where he was and that i could hear bengali in the background he turned nasty calling me every bad name under the sun. if it is not a scam why get so rude. SCAM Unusually, this was actually an English person on the other end of the phone rather than a call centre setting from India etc! The number rang my works mobile at 10:05 09/05/2023. The person on the other end spoke very well and professional, saying that they were calling from HSBC, and were making me aware of activity in my account that looked suspicious, that money was being taken out by an advertising firm.
