Same person who called one Aberdeen number (allegedly!) called me saying his name was "Nigel" from Carphone Warehouse. Asian accented and probable scam as when I asked him which branch of CPW, he immediately terminated the call. Criminal scam!

This number rang me yesterday. It was a recorded message saying money had been taken from our account by Amazon and also a money transfer. It then rang off. This is a scam number. DO NOT ANSWER IT. I HAVE NOT HAD A MONEY TRANSFER AND HAVE NOT HAD ANY MONEY TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT FROM AMAZON...BEWARE !!!!!!!

I got a message calling for me to update my 3 network details. I have reported this to the authorities, who will trace this number and the scammers behind it.

This was supposedly a text about reschedualing a Royal Mail delivery It gave website link (https://delivery-reschedual-gb.com) that doesn't exist so obviously is masking the website it is actually sending to. SPAM SCAM Fraud

Caller pretends to be from BT alledging illegal access to your broadband. Asks you to download a website Anydesk.com. This shows you suppossedly all the users who are accessing you broadband. Then they ask you to check your bank account and lo and behold someone has taken money from your account. In the next few minutes they show you that you have been credited with a large amount of money. This is to say thank you for helping them track scammers. This is an international call from another country, First Class Spam.

keeps calling and hanging up and goes straight to voicemal when you call back.

This was an automated call about a charge for Amazon Prime membership that had expired. I don't currently have an Amazon Prime membership, so this was almost certainly a scam call.

Claims to be McAfee for an automatic £179.98 subscription renewal but I've never used McAfee, so it's a scam.

Fraud On Caller Display, this number looked like a London exchange. On answering, I got a recorded message saying it was something to do with bank security, followed by a message that was intended to frighten. I hung up, and have blocked the number. Others receiving calls like this might be taken in. What can be done to stop them?

Automated call; supposedly from bank, but no name of bank mentioned. Two allegedly suspicious transactions mentioned. followed by a press-button menu. When I called my genuine bank it was confirmed there were no suspect transactions.
