Automated message asking for a call back due to a serious lawsuit. I hung up and blocked the number.

Scammer. Called advising he was from Microsoft Technical Support and i had a virus on my pc ect. Told me to press windows sign and R and asked what do i see. Told him nothing. Had him going round in circles for 20 minutes before telling him my pc wasnt switched on. He then told me i was a timewaster haha kept the idiot from bothering somebody else for 20 minutes if nothing else

He then took my number off the list and said I would no longer receive calls about that survey. now that i have seen the address and the location of the address, i believe this could be an agent for a charity that provides work for the blind. they then sell the products they make and pack via calls and delivery(very good stuff!)so i think it is legit. further i dont think they engage in cold calls only to people who have dealt with them before.

They said they were from Virgin media and my internet had been hacked but sent me links on my mobile and the word Vergin is spelt incorrectly so I ended the call.

I used to work for Stellar (temporary after redundancy). It was an awful job that paid minimum wage with no bonus. One thing I can say about them is they are genuine partners of BT which you can see at bt.com/partners. The agents that call you have all received training of a higher standard than BT agents as they wish to protect their contracts and we actually did genuinely want our customers to get a better deal. Yes we can check who you are currently with, but it takes time so it s easier just to ask. Sor
