Scam - recorded message supposedly from Amazon saying account renewed for £79 - press 1 for... etc.

Claim to be from Amazon to say someone had spent £250 and £1000 on your card

Bad line and almost unintelligible guy at the other end. Took me 3 goes before I heard the words PPI, then told him I was at work and I hung up. The guy didn t even seem to know what he was saying when I asked what he was calling for. Script based nuisances.

Keep getting this call just wondered who it was

Indian female claiming I have had an error on my internet during gaming. Claimed to be from BT who I m not with. Then asked me what I use the computer for to which I pointed out must be gaming as she had said. Asked me to find Ctrl key and asked me which key I could see next to it. Now quizzing me on the QWERTY keyboard layout is a bit of a bore so told her to go forth and multiply. She quickly hung up when I pointed out I m coming for her.

I had already blocked this number as a "cold caller" on my iPhone but these people are breaking the UK law by circumventing my block action and forcing my phone to ring. Fortunately, I ring fence ALL such numbers in one contact with a generic name "suggesting" they are all a waste of time do don t answer!

Spam caller. Dont know why they have my number. Called but when i picked up I had no response and they hung up.

Similar story to many of the above, claim that the 3rd party in an accident is making a claim and I should too, very poor line on the one occasion someone did speak otherwise it just hangs up after I answer. Tried calling back and it just goes straight to hold music indefinately.

These morons called my work number with an automated message telling me to call them back. The number they called is for an organisation with thousands of employees and the number they called is not for any individual. Called at3.30pm, didn t recognise the number so let ansafone pick up, no message left. At best a nuisance call so blocked number

Phone pretending to be from E-on wanting to know who our new supplier was, but as E-on already know that he was clearly a scammer just fishing for information. A very aggressive foreign man who thought if he repeatedly demand information we would give it to him. Googled his number whilst he was on the line and numerous reports of him being a scammer and not E-on. Started taking Direct Debit from my account, after I told them I didn t need continuing insurance on an appliance I don t own anymore. Call blocker activated as they called 2/3 times a day, wanting to know why I had cancelled the DD. Very Annoying!!

Phoned today at 12.30pm, 2.30pm, 2.50pm, 5pm, 6.20pm. Called yesterday at 2.30pm, 3.30pm, 5pm. Didn't leave any messages.

Must be a scam as text says parcel at Post Office & to pay a fee. Post Office do not have my mobile number anyway so clearly a scam.

said they were from Hermes for a missed delivery. They wanted a lot of personal info so I wouldn t give it.

Message from strange american accent asking you to remain on the line as call is very important. Then hangs up.

Received an email from a Tony Render asking me to call this number to set up an interview - aparantly its a 50p a minute call that keeps you on hold for 10-15 minutes. Kirsty , an automated survey, called Oct 9th 2014. I am ex-directory and registered with TPS. I am also disabled and find phone calls very stressful. Due to my disability, I need my phone line available at all times but this call blocked my access to my own phone line! I hung up and then went to make another call-- kirsty and her survey on energy supply was still prattling on! Hung up again but again, the call was still blocking my line when I tried to call out. Disgusting!
