I heard about calls like this in Sweden a few months ago. Heard the manage to get money thru your phonebill or something.

Despite being ex-directory and TPS registered, these cold-callers had my name but were after more information, before they could tell me if I qualify for whatever they are peddling - spray foam insulation this time. Ended the call and reported them to TPS - I recommend anyone to do the same.
