Answered call and voice identified himself as Energy advisor in area and asking to confirm as householder. Feeling polite, I responded yes but do not entertain cold calls and asked to end call. The voice continued making me believe it is voice-activated and not to be trusted. I put the phone down.

The call was allegedly from Sure Cover to revise my life insurance cover, then they said I was eligible for a better price and they tried to pass me to another department but I hang the call at that point. I searched and I found an article confirming it's a scam.

I got a call from this number today, 06/03/2023, from someone claiming to be from Vodafone, I was offered a 20% discount for the last 12 months of my contract. When they asked for my name and address I ended the call. They had a strong Indian accent. I contacted Vodafone who confirmed is was a fraud.

Fraud. Got a call I didn't answer. They left a voice mail it wasn't a person it sounded like a generic message. It said there was something wrong with my financial account and then said I'll be arrested ( they spelt out the word arrested) I have 2 phones the one they rang is the one I use for fam/ friends it's not the one attached to any of my bank account/ online shopping. SCAM Called by this number early today. Female with a strong Indian accent, said she was from Vodaphone and offering me a new contract. I cut the call short as I was busy with other things. I check after revealed the number is registered to Hutchinson 3G UK / Three UK. VERY unlikely that Vodaphone would be calling to renew my contract via a Three mobile phone. Number blocked, DANGEROUS SCAMMER for sure.

07401878848 is a mobile phone number at an indian call centre, i traced it back through the network. Someone pretending to be from amazon stating that my details have been used to order some high value items and that to cancel it i would have to do as they instructed. They wanted remote access to my computer/tablet/phone so they could steal my data. The idiots didn't realise that they had phoned an it company. when i informed them of their mistake they hung up.
