PRESS 1 to cancel transfer " - This is the SCAM. - Most will panic and do as informed. - This will take them further into the SCAM. - I ended the call. - I called back and a (bot) stated "LEAVE VOICE MAIL" - I left and explicative #@!!@### and put the phone down. If the 'owener' wants to take me to court - FINE... lets go.
Phone No. 01329239173 phoned today and claimed to be my bank security, without stating who I bank with, they said that I'd authorised Payments of £300 to Amazon and £1200 from a site I don't normally use. This was obviously a scam to get my Bank Details, I've checked with my bank and no such payments have been authorised, ,thank god. This comes after I've been hit on one of my cards for a payment I hadn't authorised with Fancy2go.com, another con artist.

This number has called me relentlessly trying to get information from me. I have bipolar and have no issues with my benefits claim. They keep stating that I need to send them my bank statements and have refused to give me her employee number or managers number or a contact for the department she works for.
Scam number. Tried to video call me on WhatsApp and then messaging me trying to say I was a man called Paul.
Call center Automated call claiming I had suspicious activity on my bank account but went to an agent claiming they were from the FCA. The ombudsman have no reason to be directly looking at my bank account without the bank ever contacting me. Strange behaviour. Wanted me to spell my details back to him as if data gathering.

My number is telephone preference system (TPS) and therefore this company - or any others like it - should not be calling - this was a 'fishing' call. Callers' name was 'Joe' - male, said he was 'an energy advisor'. End of call. Don't call again, Joe, you might get my husband next time and he is nowhere near as polite as I am.

Indian male called Alex purporting to be from BT telling me I had a problem with my internet and they were getting urgent error signals. I knew it was a hoax call, had them before, so asked him twice what the signals were and he put the phone down. SCAM - An automated Voice claiming to be from Amazon & my Amazon Prime Account was going to be auto-renewed. After hearing this I immediately ended the call. I am now getting getting REALLY ANNOYED with the amount of SCAM calls I've been receiving lately (all from different numbers) & feel I need to try and let other people know about it. Really annoying silent phone call to my mobile. If someone has misdialed then at least apologise and then hang up, don’t leave it open for 5-8 seconds on a silent call then cut it off. Not even a mobile number which they usually are.
