Fraud A man with a heavy accent told me that someone tried to draw money from my account. He did not give a bank name or anything else. I asked him to repeat his first phrase that came without a greeting or any other polite introduction. Not his name, not an organisation. I interrupted him to tell him that I knew exactly what kind of fraud he was trying on me and he broke the connection at once. The number seems to be in the Manchester area.

It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. Claims to be calling about my existing life insurance. Continued to read off his script while I fired questions to him about my non existing life insurance. Trying to get personal information like age, date of birth, address, etc.

SCAM Automated call stating £500 taken from card for air travel from london to california in september. Ignored, did not push any phone buttons

SCAM Fraud Claimed to be HSBC fraud to check a couple of suspicious transactions and knew the area I was located in. They didn't ask for any secure information but when I called HSBC directly, they had no record of either the call or the transactions on my account.

Claimed to be from Vodafone, offering a 40% discount on my monthly bill, before proceeding to ask me what my monthly bill was. I hung up. Clearly a scam, which sounds like it's coming from India.

I’ve just been called from this number claiming to be my credit card fraud check. It mentions two extremely high transactions, not made by me, then to press 1 to authorise or 2 to talk to customer service. I didn’t, I hung up, checked all my cards. No transaction has been attempted. This is a scam call.

SPAM - eventually answered as a call centre for the "housing maintenance team" asking how I was. Hung up, blocked and reported. This is a newish number as well so either autodialing or selling numbers again.
