I called the number back and it is Santander - their new HQ is based there - but only a recorded message plays without giving any further details.
SCAM Contacted me about a car accident i had a few weeks ago. knew i was in an accident, knew my name but didn't know anything else. was pushing for information from me about the accident, whether there was another party, any witnesses, what damage there was, what the outcome was. was on phone for roughly 5 minutes. when they tried to take the number of the person i collided with, i said no and she hung up on me. clear scammer.

Don't know who called me from this number. I jumped out of bed when the phone rang but I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. It was 7:36 am ffs! Even the sun was still in bed where I live in Greater Manchester and I do't even know where Thanet is, never mind why someone from there would be phoning me at an ungodly hour. This is a call centre in India that uses voip numbers to look like they are in London, it is a scam. I made the mistake of entering my mobile phone number in an add on YouTube for information on how to make money from trading, been getting these calls ever since, they don't give up, they change the numbers every day so searching on phone lookup sites don't show bad reviews. This is a scam. they try to get you to invest. they never give up and will use different numbers all over England. Each person who calls you is of Indian origins. Not possible in England not to have one person who is not and indian. Especially with Englands diversity. Just dont answer or hang up and block the number.
