SCAM Called about internet speed, this one claimed to be BT. Many calls last few weeks, sometimes claim to be Virgin, want to know speed, ip addr5ess and probably more. I string them along until they realise I am wasting their time, they then hang up abruptly. This one was not very polite.

I believe this company is Harringtons Advisory ltd. PPI,Pensions,Accidents,Mortgages,debts, and other claims calls. I have found 67 phone numbers for them so far, and 35 of them end in 063. This company is under investigation by the Claims Management Regulator, but thats only for the PPI side of it. I have had nothing but hassle from this company. This number has been calling me on my home phone continuously claiming to be from Sky TV. Indian sounding woman the first time and the other times from a man. When I answer the phone it takes a while for them to start speaking. Poor English - same scam as another number claiming there has been a breach of your sky line and they need you go go on your computer to fix it. Be aware!!

Scam. They ask for personal information and try to steal your card details, acting in a professional manner over the phone call. Never reveal any personal info. Rather ask them to verify what they know about you and perhaps you may have a chance to find out where they got your phone number or data from.

SCAM: call received at lunchtime on 7.5.2021 to work landline. Caller said they were Emily from Virgin Media about my internet connection. Queried why calling as this was not my internet provider and told that Virgin Media responsible for security of the entire internet! Then said she was in. Virgin Technical Dept. When I said it seemed unbelievable that Virgin Media managed security for entire internet was asked why i hadn’t terminated call. Caller hung up and called me disrespectful!

It seems these companies are only doing there targets, As the customer says yes (with OVR function) they just deduct the amount from your account Debit/Credit Card. The biggest fool part is that they are not with there words and for this they have to pay now. At this point when you want to talk again to them and call on those numbers it says number u dialed is not valid . It sucks now what to do i am really irritated. They deducted a handsome amount from my debit/credit amount. Before they said nothing
