Claiming to be from a legal company asking about a car accident I'd had in the past 2.5 years (which I haven't had). This is the third time I've been called, first two times was from a Kilmarnock number. I have not had a car accident during this time. A scam where they put in an insurance claim saying you were injured even if you weren't.
Call asking if i had a motor accident in the last 3 years! Not interested and number blocked!

SCAM / SPAM. Knew my name. Told me he was calling about my car accident. Got abusive when I said I didn’t drive. I put the phone down and he called back 5 times from the same number, then a sixth using an ‘international’ number. I rejected the call each time and then blocked the number.

Web development company from India using a false UK landline number. This is now the 70th call from an overseas company after registering a domain name yesterday. As a web development company of many years standing, we have never had this hassle before when registering new domain names for our clients. These people are like vultures!!!! Approx 10am 15 May 2012 unable answer a phone call received on my landline, no message left on ansaphone. Dialled 1471, caller had withheld their number. 10.22am text message from above number stating I could be entitled for up to ?4999.00 in compensatiion for missold PPI on credit cards or loan. Coincidence that both call came so close together.

Long silence then automated female voice said "This call is from the Talktalk Technical Department to inform you that your internet connection will be cut off.....press 1 to remain connected or 2 to be cut off." Obviously scammers using data from the Talktalk hack some years ago.
