This is around the 10th call in a month using same script from different numbers (all now blocked). SCAM. The caller was a woman claiming to be based in Cape Town, South Africa. She further claimed to be from the energy company – E.ON – that supplies me with electricity. She knew or guessed my first name, and asked for confirmation of details of my name and mailing address. However, she did NOT ask for – nor did she receive – my e˗mail address, my account number, or any bank or credit card or debit card details. Furthermore, she did not ask for immediate payment. Have nothing to do with this number.

Automated call : Sounded like an old lady offering me a free Energy Survey. However, when I tried to ask questions the spiel just continued with no response to me until the caller ended the call.

They called asking for someone of a different name. I said it's a wrong number and they hung up. However it sounded very much like a scam call centre. After doing 1471 3 called them back and was hearing a recorded message about them being telly tube or telly shute. Never heard of them.

This number is a SCAM. I just received a call from a man telling me he had my file in front of him and I have some unsecured debts. When I told him that I do not have any debts he hung up immediately and didn't even say goodbye. Clearly not a genuine debt advice agency because they would never hang up in such a manner. Avoid at all costs.

Does anybody recognise this, suspect, phone number, 02392379223, from which I received an automated call earlier this morning? The ‘female’ speaking voice, claimed to be from ‘AMAZON’, and wanted me to give, account, details. Needless to say , I hung up and did a ‘Who called me’ phone number search, which showed it was from the Portsmouth area, I wasn’t aware that AMAZON was based in the UK, let alone Portsmouth. All I can say is…….. BE WARNED!

Part of a concerted scam attack, purporting to come from my card company. This is the third attempt.
Foreigh accent, claimed that an investment I had made (I haven't!) in a company (that I've never heard of) has made profit and he can help get me the money. Told him this was obviously a scam so he said "Why you think so?". I told him because I'm not an idiot and he obviously is to think I'd fall for it, then hung up. Blocked.
