Scammers trying to get Amazon account details
Dodgy real estate advertisement. They called me and hung up. Called the number and go a recorded message about Real Estate Development Funds.
Claim to be fro the bank notifying me of two transactions and a press 1 or 2 to activate or contact fraud team. My bank has a different way of contacting so another scam call.
SPAM This is a recorded message purporting to be from BANK SECURITY (No name of bank or account). It says two withdrawls have been made on your account from Amazon transactions then goes on to press buttons etc. DON'T DO THIS. We have had dozens of similar calls but this one was slightly different in that it added "We know you don't normally purchase through Amazon which makes it more important you should confirm with Bank Security these transactions are fraudulent by pressing button 1" These

The exact number was 01340 831714. After searching it here, I called the number back. It has a BT call screener on it. A Scottish sounding older lady picked up the phone. I told her my name and said I'd had a missed call from her number at 7:47am this morning (3-3-23). Her reply? "No, not me, no you haven't" and then she put the phone down. The message claims to be a delivery driver from Evri saying that my parcel was unable to be delivered. In the message there was a HTML link. Needless to say I didn't follow it up. Seems sketchy.

Caller said they were from NHS asking me to confirm some details and to ask if I was keeping an upcoming appointment. A verified NHS number (0800 678 3393) also called me yesterday with an automated machine asking me to confirm my appointment. When I said this to today's caller they said that there was a problem with their system and they needed to call again. Their tone sounded genuine. I will update this message if I find out otherwise.
