I've never been in a council property and they refuse to give you information on where this information has come from and it must have been an error. Well if you're calling on behalf of somewhere that's never had my information you clearly haven't got it from them nor is it why you're calling. He even said what you think i'm trying to scam you. It's a shame about the negative feedback because it's clear they didn't stay on the phone. I hate cold calls as much as the next person but it's a legitimate process, probably just difficult to shake off old sales habits which can raise red flags when you're taking a call, I'll admit. Ah well, I'll be getting my tax rebate from HMRC in about 4 weeks just by staying on the phone, your loss guys! I'd be calling back if it were me!
