Fake car accident claims soliciting

I've had a call from this number claiming they are from my bank Halifax, i notice the area code is Halifax but i'm not sure if this is a scam call.

This number just keeps on calling. Nobody there when you answer it phone hangs up. I guess they are just trying to find out when you are available to answer the phone and then letting companies know. BLOCK IT.

"We understand you ve been in a car accident that was not your fault." I m assuming its just a scam call then.

When I called this number back an automated machine just asks you to enter your account number. It doesn t even give any kind of company name whatsoever!

All 020 numbers from London are dodgy.

I have had approx 3 calls from EE and I am almost certain I will not be renewing with them when my contracts expires later in the year. I regularly get calls from this number. It s mostly an Indian sounding woman on the phone who either tells me that she is calling for the victim, because I should have caused an accident or she tells me that my computer was broken.

This number has rang twice today but didn?t get past my Truecall system. If it was a legitimate call, they would have followed the instructions to start through the system.
