SCAM I have had three identical calls in one hour, claiming to be from technical support at Virgin Media, checking up on my internet connection. All three used exactly the same words. This was the second call. Ended as soon as I mentioned the previous call.

I was called by this number and it was an automated female voice saying it was BT and that my internet would be cut off today unless I pressed ............. I hung up

Get texts from this number at least once a month. I do not have an Halifax account so it has to be a scam. Halifax would not send a text like this they would ring you if they thought that there was fraud on your account. Best to just ignore any texts saying they are from your bank. If in doubt ring your own bank from a landline with your own bank number not the one in the text that they tell you to ring. Someone is sat at the other end of their number telling you it's a bank. Don't give in to these scammers

SCAM. Knows your first name. European accent I think. Fast talking about investment. Tries to get you to confirm personal financialdetails. Strung her along for a few minutes but she did not give up despite my ridiculous replies.

I've received several call from different numbers, all originating from Wolverhampton area. Today I answered this one and a man told me, he was from some company I couldn't understand the name, that I might be entitled to a possible refund and he just needed to confirm a few details. As soon as I told him, oh it's one of those calls he immediatly disconnected. I have send a fraud report to the police using their email ([email protected]) with the numbers this guy is using and I urge

Recorded (Robotic) voice stating that call was from 'bank fraud department' (no bank name) and there were 2 unauthorised card transactions. Obvious fraud.

automated message claiming from bank, that stated suspicious activity on card to sort press 1. No mention of which bank or which card or whose card so put phone down. Checked with bank who confirmed its a scam
