Called me today, left a message, a foreign accent that could?ve been computer generated. James Anderson from HMRC said if I don?t call back they will take matters further! Company called something generic-sounding like "UK Data" (can t remember the exact name) asked to speak to my husband saying he may be eligible for compensation "from his earlier work in industry". Shortly afterwards, I looked up Cambridge Joining Technology Ltd, which turns out to be a real company, and called the mobile number on its website and warned the man that his company name is being used.
