It's a scam to obtain money fraudulently. They pretent that they are chasing up old debt not paid for utilities from old companies. I have spoken to them and still not had a breakdown which they said they would send to me. They do not provide an address or an emai to contact them. You can not text them back on the number they send you. They do not write to you. When you change suppliers for e.g. electrics, gas. You can only change once your bill is upto date.

Maria Wilson from BT Openreach, telling me my IP address has changed from private to public. Very insistent that I was in high danger. Told me she was calling from Hammersmith, London - on a Cardiff number?? Obviously a scam, knew that from the word go but kept stringing her along for 10 mins before I put the phone down on her.

SCAM its an insurance scam company, they are using illegal auto-dialling software meaning theres never anyone on the end of the phone and it will keep calling you endlessly. This is because your insurer has sold on your contact details to this third party who will try to get you to make accident claims for a cut of the payout. File a complaint with your insurance broker for selling on your personal information.

Said they were from EE, asked me to confirm I had a 2 year contract based on the last 4 digits of my phone number (I don't but said yes to spur him to his next talking point) then said I'd won 40% discount. Then tried to confirm my account details which is when I told him to die in a ditch and hung up

Contacted via WhatsApp this number first: 07818964432 and then called from: 01315329304, pretending to be a real recruitment company( Huntress Recruitment )! I double checked the numbers with the REAL recruitment company and those numbers don't belong to Huntress Recruitment, same for this number 01315329304! Got a call from 01997 617418 and he said he was called “Daniel”, obviously incorrect based on accent. He said he was from Curry’s PC World! Stating he was doing mobile phone upgrades. Upon notification of the fact I had already upgraded recently he hung up.

This is probably a cloned number! I received call from this number on my landline. It was a scam call (live not recorded) purporting to be from BT internet about my internet line. I do not subscribe to any BT products, therefore considered it to be a scam. Could hear background noise as per a call centre.

This phone number said my bank had had money taken out

My work phone was called by this number, and got a recorded message, ostensibly from my bank, saying the two large transactions, one of which was to Amazon for £999 had been blocked, and said that I had a choice to either release the transactions or speak to a representative. This number is supposedly based in Slough, but that's not where my bank is, so I ignored it.
