AMAZON Automated call SPAM

4th March 2022 Called on my friends phone but hung up when I answered. My friend died three months ago and as executer for his estate I have his phone. Call log shows they also called on 22nd Feb 2022 but no message left so the number has been active for at least two weeks.

Scam! Received text from this number saying that my apple wallet was phohibited and provide a link for me to act (butl have never use apple wallet)!

SCAM is trying to get crypto currency data and personal data.

Fraud The claimed to be from my home appliance cover. They tried to get my bank details (even though we are on direct debit so the real provider would already have it). When challenged they called back several times getting more condescending each time. We then phoned our actual cover provider and they confirmed it was a scam call. DANGEROUS.

SCAM: Phone rang and then caller, a computer, hung up when I didn't speak! Suspected computer call trying to sniff out voice lines. If you answer then the line is detected as 'a voice line' and will usually be logged or routed through to a sales person. You'll be called back later by some sales dude. They're usually trying to flog or get you to sign up for house insulation or some scam survey based on a government scheme. They're usually quick to say they're not selling, simply enquiring; surveying; etc.

SCAM Beware! . . . . . A robotic message claiming to be from Amazon concerning an overdue payment for Prime services. I have never had Prime and I know that Amazon would not contact me in this manner. The message used a phone number local to my area, so I suspect that someone, somewhere has set up this number as a relay station.

Lady with Indian accent claiming to be from "The Phone House Company" and wanting to upgrade me to a new iPhone 11. I asked how they have my number and she said from a shared database of all UK providers, although this would seemingly breach GDPR for sharing customer's contact details and wouldn't make sense for the businesses to risk losing customers this way.
