I told him I did not have a visa debit card and asked him to explain further. He hung up. Please be aware never to give any bank details out over the phone. There is no point in reporting to the TPS or OFCOM these numbers that any scammer can buy. The telecoms company Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd That sold this number also supply a list of phone numbers to call. You are on that list if this number phoned you. Best is to get something like a Panasonic KX-TGJ420E. And leave a Google Maps review for the telecoms company.

Claim to be form Financial Services Authority and there is a frozen account in my name, a bitcoin account. Want to transfer funds back to me and close the account. I haven't invested in bitcoin so told them to trace where money came from and pay it back to that account. So obvious that it is a scam to get your bank details.

Cold call. Chris. Friendly but persistent for a free survey for loft insulation saying the insulation we have could cause condensation and damp. Declined their invitation, looked online to find the number was from Reading, then at "Wokingham Borough Council News." to find "WARNINGS OF LOFT INSULATION SCAMMERS".

Tried returning call as it looked like a UK mobile number. Did not connect. Probably spammers.

Received a text message from a number displayed as "43723". Text message reads "HSBC FRAUD ALERT: We have held a recent payment on your account for 452.00GBP to J ALIM - REF:B6JX. Please contact fraud on 03301900571 for further assistance." Probably a scam phone number.

SCAM Recorded message in female robovoice mentioning HRMC, threat of lawsuit for tax evasion etc. Hung up before message gave press 1 option for advice.

BEWARE, these are paid scammers trying to get you to give them your bank details, avoid this number completely. Don't ring them back to see who it was, they have a recorded message and they'll store your telephone number and ring you relentlessly thereafter.

FAKE Text Message from bank States that money has been charged in credit card from Amazon of £300 and another one as well. Hung up straight away, scam!!!
