Received call this morning. It rang 4 time then off. Message left supposedly from Amazon. Number shown as being from Leicester. Suspect it is a scam.

This landline rang us this morning with a recorded message trying to tell us our Amazon account had been hacked. Obviously ignore as all our accounts are in order. Clearly a scammer, more worrying that it is on a local landline!

Fraud SCAM Text Message. Got this msg "Hey Mum I have damaged my phone screen so I am on a temporary number can you whatsapp me 07517846236". I always ask for our dogs name as a security check! I contacted my children direct and they confirmed this was not from them.

01315105459 called me this evening from Edinburgh. She had an English accent and knew my name and marital status and number. She claimed to deal with policy's and worked for royal London. When asked where she got my private data info she said "from the same place I get everyone's, from Facebook where you clicked on a like and accepted marketing from us". I know I didn't! SCAM!!!!

SCAM Fraud It was a spam call about Amazon Prime membership payments being taken. One is very concerning is that they seem to have spoofed a local area code number, i.e. I live in Perth and the area code was for Perth.

Then they ask you to press 2 & hold - that's when I hung up, I guess they would have asked me for account details. I just checked with my banking app just to be sure.

We received a call from this number. The caller stated that he wants to discuss my husband’s current life insurance policy. My husband has no life insurance policy therefore I suspect they are not genuine callers. Beware of rouge callers who want to get info about your account and take your hard earned cash. Called my work asking to speak to the business owner about leads generating. I said to send us an email as none of our management are office based and the guy said ok. Then immediately after I hung up the phone, the same number called back again and a different guy was on the line asking for the business owner again.
