Silent call blocked it. Whilst coking found I was put on hold. Reported. Not safe call. Potential fraud or spam.
Robot female voice, stating that it is Visa and that transfer abroad was requested - £700. Not sure if this is a scam, I hang up.
Received a cold call purporting to be EE. The number had obviously been spoofed as it belongs to a London Cafe.

They said they were local authority and asked if I needed any repairs, any dampness etc. I asked who had contacted them and this did not make sense. I put the phone down on them. She gave me no information whatsoever and the background was silent.

Phone twice said calling on behalf of Northampton Council, looking for contact details of the site manager in charge of one of our sites down south. We dont have any? Told them this on both occasions. They said their details must not be up to date?? Probably just some marketing company trying to get a foothold within companies so they can bombard us with emails etc.
SCAM Noisy call centre. A woman with a thick Indian accent says "I am calling about your car accident" but hangs up as soon as you question her about details of where she's calling from.
Called but I did not answer must be an ignorant scamper to call me on a Sunday and I do not answer calls whose numbers I do not recognise

DANGEROUS SCAM. The Phone rang and caller (a computer) hung up when I didn't speak! This was a computer generated call trying to sniff out voice lines. If you answered "hello" or anything else then the line will be detected as 'a voice line' and you'll likely be called back later by a very clever con-artist! Fraud purport to be BT openreach and after prolonged instructions on front of computer ask to download and run "anydesk" which is legitimate software but not in the hands of these con artists.
