Gentleman with a northern accent claiming to be our towns child safety officer Telling us how we'd signed up to a child safety booklet to go to our local schools. As he couldn't pronounce the names of the schools correctly that didn't really help his cause Told him we'd never spoken before to which he quickly replied "ah right ok leave it with me" and then promptly hung up

I don't know who call me from the number 03333393319. I don't know anyone with this number. The system in my phone classified it as 'Potential Fraud' I blocked it.

SCAM- 0128 240981 I've been bombarded by calls from similar 0128 numbers for past couple weeks. I finally answered this one today (28th October) and it was a lady with an oversees accent with echoey background noise saying she was from the National Debtline. She knew my name and kept asking me to confirm it but I didn't and I kept asking who she was then hung up when she said she was from the debtline. They don't cold call you and it's a totally different number so I blocked it.

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. Got a call from this number, can’t find any search about this number. Too noisy! First said it was from Sky, (knew my name and address), said my contract ended now in begin of April, I corrected saying it was only next month. Then she said they needed to do some checks to see if they could offer me a better/cheaper deal and asked me how much I pay monthly. It was when I said if you’re from sky you should know how much I pay. it was when she said she wasn’t from Sky but from UK utility something. I hung up

I received a call 2 days ago from 07477423611 I do not answer if I dont know I heard the message that was left from this number and it was the end of a recorded voice saying something like quot if you do not take action we will complain to the authoritiesquot So it is a scam Today I got a call from a similar number 07477853867 I blocked it immediately

Reckon they are from Amazon and put a hold on my account due to a transaction for £700+. Press one to speak to an adviser. Needless to say I hung up.
