I was called by a lady from Meme Makeovers from this number. A lady offered my a photoshoot for a competition I had won from a wedding exhibition where I had left my details. She subsequently was incredibly rude and pretty much accused me of lying when I told her that her sales rep had not told me about a deposit of £35 and when I told her to call me the next day so I could think about it before committing, became pretty aggressive - complete disaster!! Claiming to be from o2 but o2 never heard of them. They have some basic account info tho so they WILL try fooling you into thinking they from o2 but they re only trying to sell you insurance etc

callcentre background noise, called about a car accident. I asked how they got my details, they said from "insurance". I asked which insurance company and was told to "shut up" before they hung up. Dialled 1471 and get the number, tried to call it back and get engaged tone

Called Sunday morning claiming to be doing a health survey for the government. Told them i needed proof. Gave me a couple of freephone numbers to ring which also seem dodgy. having read this thread I ve no doubt they will phone again but forewarned is forearmed.

This number calls me everyday at varied times, and has done so for several months. Occasionally, I answer, always with the intention of asking them to stop calling me, but there is only silence at the other end of the line for a few seconds before they terminate the call. Very sinister and extremely irritating. What can I do to stop this?

Caller (an Asian) said he was ringing from an accident investigation solicitor based in London, about the car accident that I had during past 4 years, and they could claim compensation on my behalf. I HAVE NOT had an accident !! Obvious fraud scam. I will also report this to the Action Fraud helpline.
