Rang me twice. When I picked up they said it was from Curry’s PC world, saying they had a promotions for phones and asked what phone I was using now. I said I wasn’t interested, and they hung up without saying anything else. It was quite hard to hear as their environment was loud, sounded kind of like a call centre in India. I’m not a Curry’s shopper so I doubt the legitimacy of this, probably a scam.

I got a phone call from AMS about the car accident that I had in the last year and a half. When I asked when exactly this accident was supposed to have taken place they couldn't tell me. I asked where they were calling from and I was told Glasgow. I said to the person that they didn't sound Scottish to me and they hung up! They are a total scam company.

Recorded message pertaining to be from HMRCrequesting me to press 1 and speak to a fraud officer about a case against me. I'm sure HMRC wouldn't contact people this way to discuss a case.

A south african lady left a message with a colleague that she needed to talk to me about a private financial matter. When I returned the call, she was unable to tell me where she got my details from as her info was incorrect. Spoke to her manager Luke Taylor who was also unable to tell me where they got my details. Unpleasant SCAM / SPAM. They left this voice mail message on my phone: "For you there is a tax fraud case registered under your name. You have to press one to get connected to the officer of HMRC. If in case you don't press one and your call is not connected to us then the warrant will be issued under your name straight away and you will get arrested shortly."
