SCAM / SPAM Very suspicious call recieved to my mobile claiming that I had placed an order for £5000 of books and that they were ready for payment and despatch. Thankfully I didn't give them any information and when I started questioning them, they hung up.

Fraud: Called me with an automated voice message in a threatening way saying that my phone number was involved in tax fraud. Had to press a number to be directed to what I assumed would be a scammer who would try to take my personal information.
I answered the phone to a confident sounding male who I knew was trying to sell something as he began with the usual "I hope I find you well this afternoon". He said our property was on their database as having old fashioned loft insulation. I immediately interrupted him to tell him he was wrong, we have modern insulation and that we don't want it up to the rafters as the loft is boarded and used for storage. Finance firm been pestering me daily for over a month. Tried asking them to stop in many polite ways, now I just tell them to **********. Before anyone tells me thats illegal. Iam 72 on a lot of medication I lost my wife to cancer because our oncology unit was closed for covid use and now my daughter is going the same way. Me being abusive to a bunch of bone idle idiots sat on their asses making life a misery for others with this constant barrage of nuisance calls SHOULD be illegal.
SPAM 07495977322. Comes up on this website as Russian Federation (Moscow, Scotland) - woman called me from this number insisting she’d had a missed call from me. Asking for my name. I didn’t give my name and told her I hadn’t called anyone and was busy in a meeting. She was quite aggressive. I hung up. She then texted me and asked who I was. I gave my first name and asked who she was. No reply.
